Merry Meet! My name is Lady Amaranth. You may have previously known me as Winter, but as of late I have felt the call of the Goddess to evolve and change and one of those changes has been my name.
I am a 34 year old Wiccan, single and loving it. My children are of the 4-footed variety, I have a Shih Tzu named Panda and a black cat named Spooky. We all exist together as a happy little family with my best friend & her mom in a 2 bedroom house in the state of Iowa.
I have been a learning and practicing Wiccan since 2003, but have not yet done my Wiccaning/Dedication as I do not yet feel I have learned quite enough for that. Eventually however, I will get that dedication/Wiccaning. I am formerly a Mormon who has been through enough churches (seven) to know that Christianity and all that it teaches are not for me. My best friend, however, is a Christian. LOL
I am a paid blogger, freelance writer, and I also make and sell jewelry and crocheted items.
A few tidbits:
* I have been trained at least somewhat to play 11 different instruments – piano, guitar, flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, alto clarinet, oboe, alto saxophone, violin, vibraphone, and xylophone – but my greatest instrument and favorite by far is my voice.
* I love to cook and am considered the cook in the household even though best friend’s mom is older and “more experienced” she prefers to allow me to cook as I am creative and have created some great dishes.
* I am a wanna-be novelist and have participated twice in NaNoWriMo, although I have not won yet. I am still working on 2009′s novel, and hope to finish in time to start the 2nd in the series for my 3rd attempt at NaNoWriMo.
* I do amateur web design. I do not get paid for my work and currently have only one client that I work for, but I am content with that.
