You know, ever since my dad passed away in 1987 and my birth mother passed on in 1989, I’ve been extremely sensitive to the presences of spirits. I haven’t always known who those spirits are, but I have felt them. I’ve even felt a chill as the spirit of a person passed on from this life in the room across the hall from where I stood.
I’ve seen the shapes of spirits who inhabit various places, left rooms to come back and find things that aren’t where I left them, heard furniture being moved and water being run - in my bedroom closet of all places, and felt the chills of spirits passing me by on more than one occasion.
When I worked at the hospital, I often had “cold chills” that my co-workers joked were geese wandering over my future grave. Not so much that as the spirits of long and newly deceased people floating past me, knowing that I was able to sense them and would acknowledge their presence.
I’ve shared a psychic experience with a friend from 3 blocks away, as restless spirits attempted to make us understand what happened to them - or perhaps attempted to warn us of impending doom. I feel it was the first, as we knew that my friend’s property had originally held a house that burned to the ground under suspicious circumstances, and part of this experience was the smell of smoke and the sound of sirens.
Lately I’ve been reading from Ask Your Guides by Sonia Choquette
. It teaches you how to get in touch with your own innate ability to work with your spirits and your guides, and it reminds you that you in fact do have these things. Anyone can learn to get in touch with their spirits and guides, if they really want to.
