A Lesson and A Reason

Monday, August 20th, 2007

I completed Lesson 7 of the WitchSchool Correllian First Degree course. I have 5 more lessons to go, then a final exam before I reach first degree level there. I am now a supporting member, so when I do finish, I will be going on to the second degree course. I am also taking other courses there as well, to supplement my education.

I found this video on YouTube, and although this man is a Pagan Druid, not a Wiccan, and although I am of straight sexual orientation, what he said about his struggles with who he was and what he was “supposed to be” resonated highly with me. Watch the video and you’ll see what I mean.

Lesson 6 Complete

Sunday, August 5th, 2007

Well, I’ve completed and passed Lesson 6 of the Correllian Tradition First Degree course. I am constantly amazed at these lessons. I have learned a lot from them and continue ot learn from them.

I am also working on Wicca 101 from The Magick Chalice School of Wicca. It is also a very insightful internet class. Funny that both classes, from completely seperate traditions, use Wicca & Witchcraft to mean the same thing. Now the Magick Chalice school does point out that one can be a witch without being a Wiccan, but it is safe to stated that they are, if not completely the same, very similar to one another.

I am extremely satisfied with my Wiccan education from both of these schools. I am also taking a course in Understanding the Tarot: Major Arcana at The Magical Circle School. That course is proving to be very enlightening as well. I have a meditation that I need to do both tonight and tomorrow night with The Fool card.

I probably should finish reading my lesson for The Magick Chalice and get started on my assignment, as well as journal in my class journal there.

Blessed Be
